SIGHS!

Dear 2000 - 2010,

I hope you rest in peace.

Another decade bites the dust and becomes his-story. So what is this decade’s story? 2000-2010 registered major events - the return of minimalism , invasion of the women designers, the rise of the non size 0 model, the entry and exit of Tom Ford (peek-a boo ladies), also who can forget the deaths (Michael Jackson, Alexander McQueen, Dual Kim, Anna Nicole - we will always and always love you , R.I.P. )

The decade also saw the rise of Vogue India - a new fashion chapter, the invasion of the Fashion bloggers, gay right activists, Kate Winslet, Internet vs. real world, Lanvin for H&M, Christopher Kane, Gareth Pugh, Prabal Gurung, along with their indian counterparts Kallol Datta, Anand Bhushan, Rimzim Dadu, Anand Kabra, 11.11, Gaurav Gupta, and Morphe to name a few.

I can say that with utmost conviction and pride that the decade also saw the rise of one of the prominent and major stylists in Indian film industry – Anaita Shroff Adajania.

And to top it all, the Devil wears freedom - I started my humble blog and to my greatest joy I’m blogging the final piece for 2010 - untill we invent the time machine and decide to come back your his-story.
