STYLE-FILE EPISODE 1

FASHION is not only about models (or the end product) it is (for me ) all about the various peeps involved in the making of that product. The "it" people ,the people who really do all the hard work . so i have decided to they must be acknowledged and so this series of episodes called "style-file"

                         people-places-style.

MY first interviews were the "gurls" from 11.11 by cell-dsgn (MISS.ARYA AND MISS.MIA)

both of whom are very close to my heart and are extremely nice and supportive,apart from being insanely creative and determined.

MIA (artist,set-designer,chef and *now* accessory designer) - IS inspired by everything. "i am more inspired by moment,scientific objects,old magazines and books. old maps, toys , objects with life(such as humanity) rather than *fashion*" . she wears only vintage and is a CENTRAL SAINT MARTIN alum. her dream job is to be a explorer , a global gypsy. she has recently traveled from Cambodia "in quest of hidden treasures" she says..

ARYA- (designer cellDSGN, highheel shoe lover)-- her style is menswear meets womenswear, loves wearing mens watches and converse shoes, is a nift Gandhinagar grad, "I'm inspired by shadows ,by good people around me, good food.For spring summer 2011 she was inspired by asylum,clinical environment, hospitals and all things stark and washed out for the 11.11 .collection. "i like going back home to Kerala, its almost a retreat " says the high heel lover, who swears that she can "DIE" for high-heels.
