LATE JAN months back i got a mail from MISS.YASHICA (her name drives spell-check bah-noodles ^_^) and that mail read "CONTRIBUTION", and i almost fainted.TWO QUESTIONS- why? and why? and then when i had a chat with her later it was more evident, why a newsppaer editor would want to contribute to an online mag, which was just starting, as she summed up during our first meeting outside CCD(CAFE coffee day) !!!??! " AT-LEAST YOU ARE TRYING(to do something different), THE "TRYING" BIT IS VERY EXCITING TO ME" and that said it all to me, she wrote two pieces for issue 2, one one galliano and one on mcqueen, and i don't even have to add how good a writer she is, who produces 20+ pieces a week for the newspaper.
i shot these images during out third issue meeting, (which is going to release next month). we held out meeting sitting on the road side (SEE i told you we are a cool magazine) and drinking cold-coffee and ended up sharing a brownie ( yes! i ate the bigger share, are u happy yashica???? ^_^). AND what i loved what the way she teamed up her very Indian skirt with a toon-ish tshirt and a vest + gladiators (WERQ) ...also what i love about her is her smudged dark eyes style, very CARINE-esque! ^_^
