Last week I had to go to old-Delhi for a market research project, I was expecting some good images, partly because "that" part of Delhi was still kind of raw and still kind of untouched by super-mall-commercialism. When you walk through the narrow "gullis" it feels like all eyes are on you, especially on strangers; as well the fact that it's a big whole-sale market and shop-keepers are in mood to sell. Anyhow, I spotted many foreigners there, among them this ferocious lady from the Netherlands, stood out for me, firstly because she was very tall and also because of her stunning horse saddle back-pack. She combined her dress very interestingly with a stole, brought from a Delhi local market with her tights all from back home(Netherlands).
