OK! this is kinda old, but i have never seen these posted in many(or any blogs). This particular editorial was shot for VOGUE India launch issue, in 2007, almost 3 years 9 months or so back, and it still is optically clear in my vision. Shot by prabhuddha dasgupta, known for his black and white, moody images, but in this particular editorial he takes on color, and oh the results. Even though its dark, i still find it to be extremely romantic and enchanting. Super-Models in question, kamal sidhu and laxmi menon, appear as the dark lord's mistresses draped in expensive and sinful jewels. "ITS A SHAME PEOPLE LIKE PITCH SHARP THINGS..." cried icon Grace coddington, in september issue, and how true. "I LIKE THAT SUDDEN MOVEMENT BY THE MODEL, OR A CERTAIN MOOD THAT SHE CREATES" she further continued.
Well if you ask me, this is how every editorial should look like, BECAUSE, We as humans, often tend to love things which we cannot fully decipher in our range of sight, and the way this editorial, that plays (hide and seek) brilliantly with skin and objects, that too of desires, is easily (according to me) one of the
(top 3) best editorials on an indian FASHION magazine.
