SMACK My Bitch Up

OK. so, for the first time after GIANNI'S death, Versace has opened its archives to none other than
mother monster herself, and she is WERQing the shit out of all of them while promoting
born this way all over the world. she even only wore archival Versace in the edge of glory video
(which is very unlike her, as she is known for the multiple changes, thanks to formichetti's edge styling),
so its safe to say that it was a new direction to the video in every aspect.

Gianni was shot in the July of 1997, at his miami mansion steps, by Andrew Cunanan.. he was only 50 years old.
                                                                                                                                                                             shot by mario testino

But as even death  couldn't stop Gianni from being the icon that he was and is and always will be, having inspired generations with his fashion and lifestyle alike.

thought he had several iconic collections, his last couture collection is what i want to discuss here,

the music is OPERA mixed with SMACK My Bitch Up (by The Prodigy)

the collection was rather dark and minimalistic considering versace standards,
and very very fashion forward.the shoulder pads the chain mail, the skinny  gowns,
all i can say is divine, dark and daring.

GAGA V.S. CINDY "MOLE" CRAWFORD
WERQQ!

GAGA has been wearing a mix from the various stellar gianni collections, all images (c) gagafashionland
also, i hope that  in the new versace and H & M colab, Donatella brings in some Gianni element,
which is what its been said "iconic versace moments from past and present for h&m"

how amazing is the italian vogue cover?
ofcourse by steven meisel
I DIE!

VERSACE 1992 FINALE,
do i spot a cindy?

The outfit is a mix of GIANNI VERSACE 1992(the skirt) + the black gown  1997
and oh so perfect for the occasion, as Gianni was such a huge  GAY ICON!
ONE OF HER MOST HEARTFELT PERFORMANCES! EPIC!

KEEP IT MOVING, BITCHES! KEEP IT MOVING!

and so my obsession continues even more,
of what people define as tacky Versace, i say
is iconic, kinda like gaga herself.
love her or hate her you surely cant ignore , such is the case with Versace,
also when did fashion become so serious,
i mean where's the fun and the excitement?!

that's all!
