Lady Gaga by Nick Knight | Born This Way
Lady Gaga kicks off 2011 (and my first post of the new year) with a brand new promo image for her upcoming record Born This Way. The image is by SHOWstudio mastermind Nick Knight, with fashion direction by Nicola Formichetti. The single Born This Way is out on February 13, and the album of the same name is out on May 23, 2011. Lady Gaga’s last record The Fame Monster ended up one of Homotography’s Favorite 2010 Albums.

You might notice that a couple of the titles were released in late 2009, but I’ve included them because 2010 was their real exposure year. Dubbed The New York Issue, the covers feature Lady Gaga, Marc Jacobs, Tyson Ballou and Marina Abramović, photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Nicola Formichetti.
